Through the brimmed resonance of a roaming soul
When wavered the mind
There heard our long forgotten promise in a lower voice
From the whirling wind
By little and little, once and again

Sweet scent laid by on the branch of an apple tree
Her warmth fallen down on every grasses and every petals, after the raindrops
Dazzling daylight and starlight with round-dancing on the river
Rather a song flowing and noises floating in every way
And within the streets, the tranquil footsteps of souls that once had their own names

떠돌던 영혼의 울림 한 자락
가슴이 흔들리고 있을 때 ,
맴도는 바람으로부터
잊고 지내오던 우리의 약속이 들려온다 .
가끔 아주 조금씩 작은 목소리로

사과나무에 걸려있는 달콤한 대기의 향기
비가 내린 후 , 풀섶마다 꽃잎마다 방울 맺힌 그녀의 온기
강물 위에 동그랗게 춤추는 찬란한 햇살 그리고 별빛
거리마다 부유하는 소음과 흐르는 노래 한 소절
골목 안 , 이름 가졌던 영혼들의 조용한 발자국

대게는 그러한 것들

……..Since she determined her own direction of her work, her work has got more and more clarified and distinguishable than before. Her work style can be said like Bibim Bab(Koreatraditional rice cuisine with assorted mixture vegetables). Shortly, the rice is placed at the bottom of the bowl, and put various vegetables and garnishes onto the rice. If the rice is the spirit of the eastern or Korean cultures, what’s big deal with that the vegetables are from the East or from the West. Moreover, what if that could be pictures or performances. Hong cannot be contained from one media, so nothing can be an obstacle from her doing in all formalities. Many kinds of images, characters and photos are overlapped through computer-generated images.
That’s like the furnace which smelt all the metal materials.
That could be the fusion we usually think about. From the random thoughts found in our daily lives, poetry of love, birds, flowers, enchanted images of a woman, characters of Korean, Chinese and English written with creative calligraphy etc., all of these stuffs harmonize with one another and give off a bit of astounding atmosphere.
That is more powerful than anything else. That has not only influential characteristics on visual, but also some impactful appeal in subjects…..

…… 방향이 정해진 이상 홍지윤의 행보는 거침이 없다. 그녀의 작품세계는 마치 비빔밥과도 같다. 사발의 맨 밑바닥에 밥이 있고 그 위에 다양한 나물과 고명을 얹는다. 밥이 동양 혹은 한국의 정신이라면, 그 위에 얹 는 나물이 동양의 것이 됐던 서양의 것이 됐던 무슨 상관이랴. 또 사진이면 어떻고 퍼포먼스 면 어떠랴. 매 체에 자유롭고 형식에 구애 받지 않는다. 다양한 이미지와 글씨, 사진이 한데 어울려 컴퓨터의 합성을 통해 중첩된다. 그것은 마치 각양각색의 금속품을 넣어 제련하는 용광로와도 같다. 그것이 바로 퓨전이 아닌가. 생활 속에서 발견한 사물의 모습에 대한 단상을 비롯하여 사랑에 관한 시, 새, 꽃, 여인의 아름다운 이미지, 독창적인 칼리그래피로 쓴 한글, 한문, 영자 등등 한데 어울려 독특한 분위기를 내뿜는다. 그것은 매우 화 려한 세계다. 그리고 무엇보다 강하다. 시각적으로 강할 뿐만 아니라 내용적으로도 강렬한 호소력을 지니 고 있다…..
