분홍 하늘

하루가 다 가고
창가에 은행나무가 길어질 때
서편 하늘은 엄마의 볼 연지가 되지.
꽃잎 하나가 펄펄 날리다가
장미가 되고 라일락이 되고 진달래가 되고
펄펄 날리다가 분홍 입술이 되지
작은 입술 자국 가득한 유리창에
학교, 도서관, 선물가게, 꽃집,
친구네 집, 미술관, 성당 같은 것들이
분홍색으로 그려지지.

그걸 보통 소녀 시절이라고 하지.

Pink sky

As a day goes by
And the ginkgo tree grows by the window
The west sky becomes my mother's pink make-up
A petal flutters and becomes a rose, a lilac, a azalea, and then a pink lip
In a window full of tiny lip prints, things like schools, libraries, gift shops, flower shop,
Friend's home, art galleries, and churches are painted pink

That's what It calls ordinary girlhood
